Power scales with your fuel. These are typical wheel-horsepower figures on stock turbos with a supporting piggyback setup. Your exact numbers depend on mods, fuel quality, and conditions.

Do I need a JB4 or ProTuner for the Backend Flash?
No — it's not required. To unlock the full power you'll want a JB4 or ProTuner, since the Backend Flash leaves boost control to your piggyback. But even without one, the flash still improves drivability and dials in fueling and timing, plus features like pops & bangs — you just won't reach the same peak power. If you want maximum power with full boost control and no piggyback, our Custom Tune is a standalone ECU tune.
What is the EK1, and is it included?
The EK1 is a remote flashing device that plugs into your OBD2 port so we can flash your ECU from anywhere — no shipping or appointment needed. It is not included and is sold separately. SleepyTuned does not sell or provide the EK1 device. If you don't have one, choose in-person or a pre-flashed Spare ECU.
How much power will I make?
On stock turbos: about 420 WHP on 91 octane, 440 WHP on 93, 460–480 WHP on E30, and up to 540 WHP with meth/CPI. Above 480 WHP we recommend upgraded head studs.
How do I get the tune onto my car?
Three ways: EK1 remote flash (free, device sold separately), in-person flashing (+$150), or a pre-flashed plug-and-play Spare ECU (+$499) that you simply swap in.
